Light

Your skin absorbs information stored within light from the sun. This worked flawlessly before man created artificial light and pollution filled the skies weakening the suns power. We are commonly advised to shield our skin and protect it from the the harmful rays of the sun. This is both misguided and ill-conceived as the Sun creates all life. We would not be here without it. No food or animals would exist without the life-giving energy given off by the Sun.

Light sculpts life. That is the key. It shapes and molds the human organism. It controls, dictates, and facilitates life as we know it. Those that respect Nature's laws (both knowingly and unknowingly) stand to benefit where others will suffer.

This has much to do with the fact that it is ever-present in both it’s natural and artificial forms. You truly value something in its absence. With modern technology and lighting, humans have effortless access to almost unlimited bright light with the flip of a switch.

What sets our natural clock? It is not the passage of time, but rather the color temperature of light. We have specific receptors in our eyes that are particularly responsive to the bluish light we experience in the early morning.
