Without blood tests, there isn't a lot of "data" we can use to judge one's current status (e.g. blood cholesterol, glucose, and cortisol tests). However, there are visual indicators and symptoms that represent your body's overall degree of function or dysfunction. The most reliable (and obvious) is a growing waistline and how that waistline relates to your height and hips.
I think even better than relying on man-made blood tests, we learn to understand our body and look for problems hiding in plain sight. This is usually free and tells you a more vivid picture of the current situation.
"If you are doing well with your electron flow how can you tell? You will have a very high basal temperature and increased metabolic rate. You will sweat at the correct times. Why? The ATPase in our body is built to be bi-directional and we can uncouple electron chain transport from ATP production to waste excess energy as free heat. Most people rarely get to this place, except elite fat burning athletes. They can go into the freezing cold and radiate heat within seconds.
