Fat is the most important nutrient in our toxic modern world. Fat does everything from providing energy, to both detoxifying and protecting from detoxification, to building and strengthening the body tissues, cell membranes, brain, hormones, ...
It has 3 roles:
The fat does not get harmed by these toxins in our “modern” world. If you don't have the raw fat to counteract these toxins, your body will pull fat from the nervous system.
The nervous system is 60-80% fat.
You can be “very fat” on a raw primal diet but look skinny or lean because the raw fat molecule is 1/50th the size of cooked fat molecules.
Modern science doesn't understand this nuance. You want to have lots of raw fat in your body to protect your nervous system.
Raw meat provides easily used proteins to build, rebuild, regenerate, and reproduce cells throughout the body. I have observed that raw meat is the only protein that facilitates nerve-tissue regeneration and cellullar reproduction. - AV
This is tantamount for healing. Raw meat protein can be used for growth, to build new tissues in a way that milk and eggs can't.
Eating too much lean meat will lead to energy crash, and also suffer from damage from detoxification in the absence of enough fat.
A lot of extra fat is required for this reason. Some people make this mistake, even when thinking they have the proportions right.
Sometimes you'll want a lot more meat than usual for anemia or blood loss or if you want fast growth (example: longer hair).
200g minimum, 300-500g average, 1-2kg "maximum" (there is not really a maximum, only how much you can digest and how much extra fat you can keep up with).
Juice is necessary for many years to digest more meat and fat, and to remove certain toxins that burden the body's function and digestion a lot.
It supplies extra micronutrients: vitamins, minerals, enzymes. Minimum is 2 cups (500mL) a day. That's just to deal with the toxins.
2 more cups helps replenish the micronutrient stores of the body.
However, it is often overlooked that the quantities depend on one's individual needs, some people will need much more, even if temporarily. It can be 2, 3L for a few days, or weeks.
Without enough juice, it can be hard to do the diet at all even after years.
Milk, cream, unsalted butter, unsalted cheese, kefir
Hard to find these days depending on your location due to government restrictions and unnatural living, but great to have on hand and helps the body in so many ways. Great for young men wanting to grow and add body mass.
Several popular diets exclude dairy, because it’s supposedly a source of allergens. Once again, milk is not milk (and milk is not yoghurt is not cream is not butter). What comes from a supermarket isn’t in the same dimension as raw milk from a biodynamic farm. The more processing a food undergoes, the less it can be classed as a food.
A cow (or goat) fed grains becomes inflamed. If it’s given antibiotics and hormones, its milk is toxic. If we take toxic, inflammatory milk and homogenise it (that’s bad), it becomes even less of a food. Skim the cream to make it low fat? It’s now technically not a food. To make sure that it’s definitely not a food, it can be pasteurised, killing off the beneficial natural enzymes and bacteria.
If you think that the bacteria in milk is bad, have you had the olfactory displeasure of rotten milk? That’s pasteurised milk. Raw dairy never goes off. It curdles and becomes sour milk (healthy), then separates into curd and whey (healthy). It never gives off a putrid odour. Louis Pasteur, who developed the pasteurisation method, later confessed that killing off natural bacteria is a mistake. Microbes do not cause ill-health in humans, only a weak and toxic internal environment is prone to disease, which the natural bacteria in raw milk help to prevent.
As mentioned, the term ‘dairy’ is broad. If I had to name the most valuable food for removing gross toxicity in the body, it would be cultured raw butter. Raw cream - and especially raw butter - is fine for people who don’t do well on milk. Milk can be made more digestible by making half/half (50% milk to 50% cream) and adding raw honey for extra enzymes

Great to have at night before bed to help nerves settle and get yourself really relaxed for a great nights sleep. Don't consume straight out of the fridge as the coldness will hamper digestion. Let sit for 5 hours at least outside fridge before drinking.
If you have bloating or gas problems from raw milk, try mixing raw honey to help you digest. If that doesn't help, then stick to the cheese, butter, and cream.
Nothing can soothe and protect the brain like raw cream. If you're craving ice cream then you got brain problems.
It is always better to consume raw dairy products at room temperature (like they were coming out of the cow, goat, or sheep)! Let raw milk warm at room temperature for at least 5 hours before drinking. Longer the better.
Don't chug the milk. Drink with a glass straw and swish each gulp in your mouth before swallowing.
A vital tool in your nourishment repertoire. Can be used alongside most things especially raw meat and honey.
Cheese has a lot of minerals and great to nimble on. It helps bind with toxins in the body. Best to eat with a little raw honey and raw butter.
Eat raw unsalted cheese during diarrhea to help absorb toxins the body is letting go of.
A small bite of raw unsalted cheese eaten 10 minutes before meals helps to prevent bloating by taking toxins away. It also will increase digestion twofold. This is done with cheese on it's own. Cheese eaten with a little raw honey 15 minutes after a meat meal will greatly increase the digestion of meat while helping the minerals from the cheese get into your new tissue.
Cheese can also be combined with bee pollen and the Lubrication formula for extra benefits.
It's important here to note that some raw unsalted cheese will still be made with a "salted rennet". You can ask them to make the raw unsalted cheese with vinegar or a homemade rennet. Some will do it. Some will not. Best to avoid honey with raw unsalted cheese if you know they used a salted rennet.
Most store-bought kefirs are adulterated in some way where they pasteurize and then add probiotic supplements or hit a certain amount to where they can still call it "raw". It's best and most enjoyable to make it yourself.
Simply combine a full airtight container with milk and about an inch of honey like below. Let sit in your cabinet for 24 hours and enjoy. If you let it keep going into 48 hours + it will separate into whey and curds which is still fine to drink but becomes different.
Raw milk as a food is much more potent when fermented (kefir). It digests almost twice faster!
🌫 Consuming all your milk in the form of kefir will bring many benefits in digestibility and energy, as well as anti-aging. It even doubles as a face cream!
Always ferment in cleaned and dry glass. Store in a dark, warm place. You can use your own saliva and/or unheated honey as a starter culture. The saliva will tailor the bacteria to your body's needs.
Ideally, you can use never chilled raw milk for this but not alwas possible.
As long as the milk has been kept at least 70 F, it should be properly thickened between 30-40 hours, with only a bit of liquid surrounding. When it's at that point, refrigerate it to slow down fermentation and it will remain in that state for a week.
Then you can blend that with raw honey and fruit for a great treat.
Fermented milk has more lactic acid which helps relieve soreness (the raw lactic acid in it binds to the "spent" lactic acid).
Consumed by itself, it is great for recovery. This can be strained from milk or bought directly from a local farmer. This is great for recovery and muscle growth.
You can make whey by leaving a small amount of raw milk in a jar in the cupboard. After a few days the milk will separate, leaving a chunk of curd floating on top of the whey. Strain through a cheese cloth to collect the whey, which is a clear liquid. The solid white stuff can be made into cottage cheese. Refrigerate the whey and enjoy

It is not raw most times, and I recommend to avoid.
It is similar to kefir. However, yogurt is always made with heated milk and will not thicken unless milk is heated to at least 115 F. Most store-bought yogurt is made from pasteurized milk and is inferior food. Raw kefir is considerably superior.
AV, We Want To Live
An overcooked cage grain-fed egg is not equivalent to a raw pasture raised organic whole egg. Most studies on eggs are on the latter. Raw eggs digest in 23 minutes. Faster than any other food. Raw eggs are best for losing weight and burning fat.
Free-range eggs are one of the most compact foods in nature. Eggs are the ultimate complete fast-food. However, the protein in eggs is not utilized for cellular reproduction. They are utilized for regeneration and maintenance and cannot be substituted for raw meat except occasionally. The relationship between raw eggs and salmonella-poisoning is a myth.
AV, Recipe for Living Without Disease
If eggs are whipped, beaten or blenderized without milk, cream, or coconut cream, many of the enzymes are oxidized and lost. If eaten alone they must be eaten whole either out of the shell by cracking or in a jar.
Red Meat = beef, bison, lamb, pork etc
White meat = chicken, turkey, rabbit, etc
Aim to get 1-3 pounds per day. Fresh never frozen. Grass-fed grass-finished. No soy, no antibiotics, and no synthetic hormones. Try different cuts and see what you like. Organ meats can be much cheaper and high in nutrients. The tougher the meat the better.
It provides easily used proteins to build, rebuild, regenerate, and reproduce cells throughout the body. I have observed that raw meat is the only protein that facilitates nerve-tissue regeneration and cellular reproduction.
AV, Recipe for Living Without Disease
“Eating raw fish or organic raw chicken or turkey helps heal and restore damaged and dead nerve tissue and skin” (We Want To Live, pg. 244)
The body will store toxins in the fat, yes. So animals that are fed grains/soy/hormones/antibiotics (most meat you buy at the grocery store) these toxins will be stored in the fat, so you can get muscle cuts if you can't afford the healthier meat. Avoid organ meats from sick unhealthy animals (99% of what's in grocery stores).
Meat must be fresh unfrozen. It will unfortunately lose 80% of it's nutrients and generate new toxins. There are a few deep sea fish which can survive the thawing and thus be relatively undamaged by freezing.
Eating raw meat will help muscle growth and gains become permanent rather than temporary as it is with gym work.
Fresh never frozen. You can simply dig it out with a knife or fork. Combine with meat meal. Very potent.
For optimal performance, he suggests eating raw fresh organically raised never frozen bone marrow with meat meals. Also organic raw organ meats can provide hormones for higher performance, such as raw testicles/aka rocky mountain oysters or liver.

Oysters, clams, muscles, shrimp, lobster, ahi tuna, scallops, sea urchin, swordfish, kanpachi, etc
Very important for me and vital for optimal brain health in a 5G WIFI world. Raw fresh seafood has large doses of DHA which directly help the brain and mitochondria run smoothly. Avoid cooked seafood.
White meat such as nonfarmed, ocean wild-caught fish and seafood, helps reconstitute nerves, including the brain
I recommend only ocean wild-caught raw fish, not farmed, except oysters, clams and scallops. I suggest all varieties including Swordfish, which has the highest mercury content. When digested and made bioactive by plankton and eaten by fish, traces of mercury are great detoxifiers of toxic mercury in the body. Bioactive and non-cauterized mercury in raw fish helps buoyancy of fish. When fish are cooked, mercury and other metallic minerals become free-radicals and toxic.

Local unheated bee products including royal jelly, bee pollen and comb
Always look for raw honey in glass, ideally curved glass. honeycomb, bee pollen (Mother Nature's source of B vitamins) and royal jelly are other great sides to add to your nourishment.
Always use wooden spoons with honey. The metal will oxidize the honey.
Heated honey even if it's still raw (between 33°C to 39°C/102.2°F) will have most of its enzymes turned into sugar, even if it's raw sugar, Honey is more sensitive than other foods to heat.
Contains an insulin-like substance that is produced by bees when collecting nectar. That insulin-like substance converts 90% of the carbohydrate in nectar into enzymes that help digest, assimilate and utilize protein. Unheated honey is a wonderful sweet food that helps digest all types of meat
AV, Recipe for Living Without Disease
Honey does not have the same effect on the body as pure sugar. Just as fat is not fat, table sugar is not fruit is not raw honey. The majority of the sugars in raw, unheated honey (not heated above 36 degrees C/96.8 F), convert to enzymes in the body. It will not cause disturbances to blood sugar, and will not cause weight gain. Raw honey is such a beneficial food that it should be considered a ‘super food’ and a medicine. You can add raw honey to your cold press juices to preserve them. Raw honey is very effective when used as a topical for burns, rashes, bites and stings.

Carrot, celery, beet, parsley, cucumber, lemon, and lime are good ones to think about.
Look to the distinction between the hydration formula and vegetable juice in the food combination lesson.
This is where most our "hydration" should come from.
Very important for optimal health because they are the only nontoxic vitamin, enzyme, and mineral supplement. They provide for the management of toxicity from years of eating cooked food. They provide for proper blood alkalinity without alkalinizing the acidic parts of our digestive tract.
AV, Recipe for Living Without Disease
We are carnivores, not herbivores, so we want A 5.5 pH blood, urine, and saliva. We don't want any alkaline event going on. If you're eating cooked foods — that's a different matter. You will need a lot of alkalinization because you're over acidic.
Juices means the pulp is discarded. We can't digest it. So yes in nature there wouldn't be juicers, but what you can do is chew veggies such as celery, and spit out the pulp.
Don’t mix vegetables with sweet fruits. Bland fruits are fine, such as cucumbers. I don’t recommend fruit juices.
First thing in the morning, raw fresh green vegetable juices (mostly celery). 8-16 ounces. That juice provides many nutrients that alkalize excessive and toxic acids in the stomach and blood, healthfully waking the body for the day.
Raw Fruit: whatever is local to you and in season, includes avocado
A little fruit in season, local, fresh, and organic is okay.
Best to pair with a raw fat like cream. Avoid fruit juices.
This is down to individual biochemistry (and blood sugar regulation), but for a lot of people, eating fruit by itself can rob the blood of fats. This is different to blood sugar, but is also relevant to hormone regulation. Stress, such as mental/emotional stress, extended exercise, exposure to cold etc, robs the blood of fats. By eating a raw fat with fruit, this is mitigated.

In rare scenarios, pineapple can be used to help rebuild vertebrae, cartilage, and any bone. Watermelon can help perspiration to help detox of vegetable oils.
Lime juice is an antiseptic & antibiotic. Good for open wounds. Lemon juice ferments foods and helps digestion.
Pineapple can be used to breakup scar tissue applied topically. You can also eat pineapple (sparingly) to breakup hardened fat. Bromelain is the enzyme doing this.
A way to get starch without the advanced glycation products of cooked starch are nuts, but inside the nut formula not on their own.
See Food Combination Lesson
Traditionally made sourdough bread, white rice, even traditionally made pasta when combined with raw fat like unsalted butter, baked sweet potato
Things like white rice, sweet potato, white potato, and even traditionally fermented sourdough bread can be okay in moderation and combined with raw fats, but I would try to get as much "carbs" as you need from honey, dairy, and a little fruit.
Potatoes should always be skinned. Soak rice overnight and pressure cook.
Kombucha - I would avoid most store-bought brands as they are not truly fermented. Look for small home-made brands or mom and pop shops.
Jun - Is similar to kombucha except made with honey and green tea instead. Very good if you can find it. You can also make it yourself.
Tea - I would avoid most as the leaves are dried and lost their raw status. I would avoid any with caffeine anyways.
Coffee - Avoid entirely. Caffeine is not your friend. Coffee is a modern day drug sold by shops on "every corner".
Water - See Water Lesson.
If you have a craving for salt that means you have a mineral deficiency. You need foods like raw unsalted cheese, fresh celery juice, and oysters/other raw fish. I'd avoid straight up salt regardless of the type in almost all scenarios.
Clay, cheese with honey, milk, and vegetable juices are your main substances of concentrated minerals.
Best to avoid even raw salted cheese. Salt is an explosive.
Always use wooden spoons with honey. The metal will oxidize the honey.
