When you breathe you want fill the diaphragm in all directions, not just out. Your belly and diaphragm are not the same thing. Your diaphragm can even wrap around your lats in your upper back.
All the air through your nose. This will produce nitric oxide which increases blood flow and oxygen absorption.

Aim for grace, Aim for parasympathetic. Most people are too stressed out as it is. Too much sympathetic. Stray away from things that simply increase your sympathetic to numb your issues with more stress hormones.
