Food is an electromagnetic fingerprint from the sun that is created by photosynthesis. Mitochondria are decided to decipher that electromagnetic cipher. It is a deciphering sensory mechanism. That is what is being disrupted in the prefrontal cortex of the brain. - Dr. Jack Kruse
In this vein, we want alive vivacious food instead of dead, cooked, indigestible food. We want food full of nutrients, not full of anti-nutrients and neurotoxins. We want food full of structured water optimal for hydration instead of relying on water to hydrate our tissue. Cooked food is not only devoid of hydration and nutrition but leaves the body thirsty.
We also want food that's going to align our circadian rhythms and provide the optimal light information for our location. This translates into eating local, fresh, and organic. "Foods" that have been grown in pesticide-laden monocropped factory farms and shipped across the world have no place being called food.
I am talking about eating raw meat, raw eggs (like rocky), raw fish (like sushi), raw dairy products (unpasteurized), raw honey, and even cold-pressed vegetable juices. This automatically makes these foods fresh and local which falls in line with the mitochondrial-based eating principle.
Now I know many of you will automatically think this is gross or crazy, but that's normal. Pretty much all of society has been taught to always cook (burn) their food to "make things taste good" and to be "safe". The first is really just most of our taste buds have been conditioned to favor processed ingredients and the high amounts of flavoring (sugar).
The second concern is entirely unfounded and has much more to do with industrial processed meats and vegetables that are frozen for indefinite periods and then sold as "fresh" in franchise stores like Chipotle and McDonalds. That's what happens when you kill off the natural life present in food (bacteria and enzymes).
At a fundamental level, cooking food produces toxins in the food as well as mutilate the nutrients that were already there. Vitamins are destroyed. Enzymes are destroyed at prolonged artificial temperatures from 122 F (49 C). The loss of mineral utilization due to cauterization is significant.
Without these little guys, you and I would be dead. Bacteria are found almost everywhere on Earth and are vital to the planet's ecosystems. We and bacteria live together in harmony helping each other, especially in the human body. Bacteria do not cause food poisoning. Largely everything you've heard about bacteria is fear-based inside an unfounded pathogen theory.
Bacteria give you life. Enrich your body with raw fresh food abundant in bacteria and see your Inner Furnace prosper.
Dr. Jerry Tennant's amazing work with voltage shows that much success with raw diet is due not only to undamaged proteins, enzymes, minerals, etc. but that raw food carries voltage. Cooked food does not. Without voltage and raw materials, one cannot build a new cell and therefore cannot heal.
Another missed point is how the body handles fat that's been heated vs raw fat in its natural state. Most people have never even considered this nuance. Raw fat lubricates and nurtures the body, while cooked fat becomes dense and oxidized requiring the body to go through a number of detox measures.
Raw fat is the most utilized nutrient in our bodies, especially in our toxin industrial world. It helps stabilize and relax the body markedly when in combination with raw meat. Fats help white blood-cell production, assist microbial activity and provide for lubricants accomplish a variety of functions. Fats provide the greatest, strongest, and most efficient energy possible.

Beware the marketing of superfood supplements. The real "superfoods" are those in nature like raw organ meats, oysters, and even honeycomb. Anything coming in a box or sold at a smoothie shop is not a superfood or even healthy at all...
'Super food’ is a marketing term. All natural, organically grown foods are super foods. An orange grown naturally in your back yard is ten times the ‘superfood’ of any powder that comes from the amazon, no matter what the marketing blurb says.

Prioritize seafood especially shellfish (oysters, muscles, clams, shrimp, lobster, scallops, etc). In the summer months, it's okay to eat more fruit and carbohydrates if they're naturally present in your location, but in the winter you will want to restrict most fruit and have very little carbohydrates. Sweet potatoes and white rice are the cleanest carbohydrates to have.
Avoid all nightshades (tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapeños, chiles, etc) except when correctly juiced or combined with raw fats. Avoid all grains. This means bread, crackers, brown rice (white rice is okay), pizza, popcorn, cereal, pasta, quinoa, and any other kind of wheat. You can get away with a little bread if it is made locally in the traditional way of fermentation.
Raw unheated dairy is fantastic for living healthfully. Unfortunately, depending on what country you live in your dairy is likely pasteurized. Raw local grass-fed goat or sheep dairy is what most people should have access to, but for modern unnatural living, most do not. Most dairy is pasteurized, grain-fed, and from A1 cows and should be avoided.
In the coming lessons, we will dive into different aspects of this new way of nourishing the body.
